As an account executive at The Ehrhardt Group, Ann Fabens-Lassen implements media relations and strategic communications projects for a variety of corporate, public sector, nonprofit and entertainment clients.
Through her work with the Southern United States Trade Association, Ann conceptualized and executed regional, national and trade media outreach campaigns to position the organization as an indispensable aspect of the region’s economy. Over the first seven months of the campaign, Ann and her team secured coverage in more than twenty-five print and broadcast outlets across the Gulf Coast.
Ann also assists with crisis communications for Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance, Propex Global, and the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-West (SLFPA-W), developing and effecting strategic communication plans for severe weather incidents. Ann generated an emergency preparation plan for SLFPA-W, ensuring streamlined and constituent communications through Hurricane Isaac.
A Philadelphia native, Ann received a Bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in English at Tulane University. Prior to joining The Ehrhardt Group, Ann served as associate account executive at a local public relations firm, gaining hands-on experience in public affairs communication. Ann is currently a member of the Press Club of New Orleans and the Young Leadership Council and enjoys applying her experience in communication to work that benefits the people of the city and state that she has grown
