Raised Floor Living

The Southern Pine Council partnered with The Ehrhardt Group to launch the regional Build to a Higher Standard" campaign to educate home buyers about the benefits of living in a raised, wood-framed home. The Ehrhardt Group reaches out to homeowners through regular news items, television and Internet advertising. The Ehrhardt Group initiated major sponsorships and donations to the rebuilding efforts throughout New Orleans, the Gulf Coast and Houston.

As the campaign continues to grow four years later, Raised Floor Living was able to expand their 2009 campaign to the Houston market, throughout the Gulf Coast and into the Jacksonville area. The Ehrhardt Group also worked with Raised Floor Living to institute a builder training series throughout their target markets.

The "Build to a Higher Standard" campaign generated a 28 percent increase in unique visitors on RasiedFloorLiving.com from 2007 to 2008. The campaign also saw a seven percent increase in preference of raised wood foundations over slab-on-grade in homeowners as a result of their efforts. The Ehrhardt Group generated these results through television and Internet advertising, interviews and coverage across the Gulf South and multiple demonstration homes and rebuilding projects, including: the NAHB Green Home Tours, the only LEED certified home in the Houston area, a 20-home project in the Gentilly neighborhood, Project Home Again, and four Habitat homes in Mobile, Ala. and Vero Beach, Fla.
