THE EHRHARDT GROUP SWEEPS BEST PUBLIC RELATIONS CAMPAIGN CATEGORY AT NEW ORLEANS PRESS CLUB AWARDS

NEW ORLEANS - August 10, 2009 - The Ehrhardt Group, a leading corporate communications and marketing firm in New Orleans, was awarded first, second and third place in the category of best public relations campaign at the recent Press Club of New Orleans' awards ceremony.

First place was awarded to the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff Office's bond renewal proposition campaign. The Ehrhardt Group, on behalf of the sheriff's office, launched this campaign to educate citizens of Orleans Parish about a bond renewal proposition placed on the Oct. 4, 2008 ballot.

Second place was awarded to the Orleans Parish School Board's campaign aimed at gaining support for a renewal of millage funding and the first master plan for Orleans Parish public schools. Voters approved both the bond renewal and the millage renewals overwhelmingly.

Finally, third place was awarded to the New Orleans Hornets "Fan Up" campaign, launched to spur fan excitement during the 2008 playoffs.

The Ehrhardt Group, in conjunction with Peter Mayer Advertising, was also awarded the best press kit for The Roosevelt New Orleans' Hotel Grand Opening.
